Applications

The Extreme abrasion resistant Hardfacing alloy from CEWELD E DUR 62 S offering excellent wear resistance with medium impact. To be used for applications where release cracks are needed for good bonding.

Ideally suited for build-up welding of parts that are exposed to heavy abrasion and medium
impact stress at elevated temperatures, e.g. screws, sieves, fan blades, grate bars, coke ejectors, sinter crushers, slag crushers.

Properties

CEWELD E DUR 62 S shows excellent resistance to high abrasion and medium impact. Very good weld metal appearance and excellent welding properties at both AC and DC+ with an output of 200 % for excellent deposition performance. (Preheating is not required) Equivalent in FCAW: OA 59, OA 60 Mo, OA 61, OA 62
